Inventory

This is the list of current saddles in inventory. These are for sale. If you want to buy one, or have any questions, please contact me.

Each has its own story. Some are saddles I’ve recovered for no particular reason— you could call it practice. Some are finished and ready to install; others might still like a bit of color or something. Some are saddles I made for a particular customer and for whatever reason remain in my hands.

All of them have new leather; but some have been used— used by me, that is. That’s because I have installed a saddle on one of my bikes and used it for a while. I have to test the product now and then, see how they feel, right? Well, I have ridden some farther than others. I try to include all this information as appropriate. If you inquire about a saddle, I will try to fill you in on all the details.

Why am I trying to sell saddles that are imperfect, used, or even damaged? Well, if it has new leather it should be good for a few thousand miles, and I’d rather it gets used than not. I can knock it apart today, throw away the leather, and do it over… or I could get someone to ride it for a while, use it up, and send it back… and then I knock it apart, throw away the leather and do it over.

Warranty on these: if a saddle arrives and you feel it is not as described, send it back within a week for full refund (but you still pay for sending it back). If you’re not sure, feel free to try it for a while; as long as there are no visible signs of use (and I can still sell it as a “new” saddle), return it for full price, but not shipping. If a saddle is used, I am pretty flexible about what constitutes “signs of use.” If a saddle fails prematurely, or requires repair, please send it back, and let me figure out what went wrong, what I can do to make it better, etc. You pay for shipping it back to me, I make whatever I consider necessary as a repair, and I pay to send it back to you.
